marine parade east coast park 300x225 East Coast Park7.5 million people descend upon this 15km stretch of land every year, that’s more than the entire population of Singapore put together!

If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is where you can come to. East Coast Park offers activities from the most passive to the most vigorous, providing something for the entire family. There are sporting opportunities such as cycling, in-line skating, cable skiing and water sporting activities as well as a Xtreme SkatePark for action sports enthusiasts. The tree lined walkways offers a cool retreat for the joggers and cyclist and a stroll here allows you to mingle with the locals.

On the weekends, you will be surrounded by families and folks on roller blades, swimming, jogging, cycling, wakeboarding, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, strolling, having a picnic, sun tanning etc. ok you get the idea.

We normally like to hang around after lunch and rent bicycles from one of the many kiosks dotted along the coastline, tapering off with a sumptuous chilly crab seafood dinner and then a nice romantic stroll back to the car under the starlight with the sound of the waves hitting the shore.
